Cargo bay configurations

One bay. Two variants. BN-1X and BN-1XM

The civil BN-1X and tactical BN-1XM share a common cargo-bay architecture, designed to accommodate up to 7 LD-2, 6 LD-3 or 3 LD-8 containers, bulk cargo distributed across 4 main zones plus a tail cargo zone, or up to 4 military-standard 463L pallets.

The BN-1XM retains the common cargo-bay architecture, with local structural reinforcement and an additional rear cargo door for tactical offload and airdrop operations.

Civil · Mode 01

6 ULD, single file

LD-3 containers arranged in a single longitudinal row within the cargo bay, with up to 6 loading positions. Each position provides approximately 2,100 mm (82.7 in) of longitudinal spacing. Containers are loaded individually, not side by side.

Civil · Mode 02

4 bulk zones

Loose boxes carried on the cargo deck, arranged in 4 main zones plus a tail bulk cargo zone. Loaded through the front door. Civil BN-1X.

BN-1XM · Mode 03

4 pallets type 463L

Four 463L military pallets accommodated on the cargo deck, with loading possible through either the front or rear cargo door. The rear door also enables tactical offload operations. Tactical BN-1XM.

Ground path

Front door for loading. Rear door on the BN-1XM.

Loading is primarily conducted through the front cargo door using a standard cargo loader.

On the BN-1XM, the rear cargo door provides additional access for loading, tactical offload and airdrop operations.
