BLUNAVIS has not yet been incorporated as a legal entity.

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data may be processed when you visit https://www.blunavis.com or contact the project by email.

The website is designed to minimise the collection of visitor information. It does not currently offer user accounts or a newsletter. Google Analytics is used only if you accept it.

2. Privacy contact and project status

  • Project: BLUNAVIS
  • Website: https://www.blunavis.com
  • Privacy enquiries: contact@blunavis.com
  • Country associated with the project: Belgium

BLUNAVIS is a project brand and does not, by itself, constitute an incorporated legal entity.

For questions about this Policy or requests concerning personal data, please contact contact@blunavis.com.

The contact details above provide a channel for privacy enquiries. They do not, by themselves, identify the legally responsible data controller.

3. Personal data that may be processed

Although the website is designed to minimise data collection, some information may still be processed through its technical infrastructure.

3.1. Technical information

When you visit the website, the hosting infrastructure may process technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as:

  • IP address.
  • Date and time of a request.
  • Requested page or resource.
  • Browser and device information.
  • Technical and security logs.

The website does not intentionally use these details to build visitor profiles or track visitors across websites.

3.2. Email correspondence

If you contact BLUNAVIS at contact@blunavis.com, your email provider and the project may process information contained in your message, including your email address, name if provided, message contents and attachments.

Please do not send sensitive personal data, classified material, export-controlled information or confidential third-party information through general email correspondence.

3.3. Briefing form

The briefing form on the contact page sends the name, email, organisation, interest and note you enter to contact@blunavis.com, so the request can be read and answered.

4. Purposes and legal bases

Technical information may be processed to:

  • Deliver website content.
  • Maintain website availability and security.
  • Detect abuse, malicious activity or technical errors.
  • Investigate security incidents where necessary.

Email correspondence may be processed to read and respond to enquiries, manage professional communications and take steps requested before a potential business relationship.

Depending on the circumstances, processing may be based on legitimate interests, steps requested before entering into a contract, or compliance with a legal obligation, as applicable under the GDPR.

Where legitimate interests are relied upon, they may include maintaining website security and responding to legitimate project enquiries, subject to the rights and freedoms of individuals.

5. Analytics, advertising and tracking

If you accept analytics, the website uses Google Analytics to count visits and understand which pages are opened. Google may process technical information such as an IP address, browser and device details, and the pages viewed. Google may set cookies such as _ga. This information may be processed outside Belgium, including in the United States. Analytics stays off if you refuse.

The website does not use advertising pixels, behavioural advertising or session-replay tools, and it does not intentionally create visitor profiles for advertising.

The absence of advertising tools does not mean that no personal data is processed. The hosting infrastructure may still process technical information, including IP addresses, to deliver and secure the website. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics processes the information described above.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

The website is designed to minimise cookies and similar technologies. Analytics cookies are set only if you accept Google Analytics. Advertising cookies are not used.

Technical cookies or similar technologies may be used where necessary for website delivery, security or functionality.

The website’s Cookie Policy is available at https://www.blunavis.com/cookie-policy.

Where applicable law requires information or consent for cookies or similar technologies, the relevant requirements apply.

7. Service providers and recipients

Technical information may be processed by the website hosting provider and relevant technical service providers where necessary to deliver, maintain and secure the website.

Email correspondence may be processed by the email service provider used to receive and manage messages sent to contact@blunavis.com.

Personal data may also be disclosed where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Personal data is not intended to be sold to third parties.

8. International transfers

The hosting and email providers used by the project may process personal data in the European Economic Area or other countries, depending on their infrastructure and service arrangements.

Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer must comply with applicable data protection law. Appropriate safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism will be used where required.

9. Data retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose, subject to applicable legal obligations.

  • Technical and security logs: retained for the period necessary for website operation, security and troubleshooting.
  • Email correspondence: retained for the time necessary to handle the enquiry and any reasonable follow-up. Correspondence may be retained longer where justified by an ongoing professional relationship, legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

When personal data is no longer necessary, it is deleted or anonymised unless further retention is legally justified.

10. Your data protection rights

Subject to the conditions and limitations under applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request erasure of your personal data.
  • Request restriction of processing.
  • Object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Request data portability where applicable.
  • Lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

To make a request, contact contact@blunavis.com. Requests will be handled within the time limits required by applicable law. Additional information may be requested where reasonably necessary to verify your identity and protect your data.

11. Supervisory authority

Individuals may have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

The Belgian Data Protection Authority can be contacted through its official website: https://www.dataprotectionauthority.be/.

The competent authority may depend on the circumstances of the processing and the applicable GDPR rules.

12. Security

The website operator uses appropriate technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

No method of internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

13. Third-party websites

The website may contain links to external websites or services. BLUNAVIS does not control the privacy practices of those third parties.

When visiting an external website, you should consult its own privacy policy and terms.

14. Changes to this Policy

This Policy may be updated if the website, its technical configuration, its service providers or its data-processing practices change.

The latest version will be published on the website with its revision date.

If a legal entity is incorporated in the future and assumes responsibility for the website and its personal data processing, this Policy will be updated to reflect the new arrangements and identify the appropriate data controller.
